An all too rare an opportunity presented itself this week, an “open pitlane” Track Day at the UK’s fastest circuit; Thruxton.

Joined by our friends from RAMAIR Filters and several of our regular clients, including a fully race prepared Porsche 968 (built, developed, maintained and race-supported by ourselves), we couldn’t pass it up.

Gloomy skies and sporadic showers in the days prior had left us preparing for the worst, but out of nowhere came a beautiful sunny day with not a cloud in the sky. The weather could not have been better for a day out on track.

Despite the circuit’s very strict sound limits, a wide variety of over sixty cars made out onto the track throughout the course of the day. Everything from a standard hot-hatch to purpose built race cars.
